2. Use consistent formatting for dates and job titles. In a minimal template, any inconsistency stands out more.
3. Ivory works particularly well with serif fonts. If you switch from Avrile Sans to Lora, the template takes on a more traditional, editorial feel that suits legal, academic, and finance roles.
4. Keep it to one page unless you genuinely have more than 10 years of relevant experience. The clean layout looks best when it is not padded.
